My Little Militia

NY, NY --

Fox Networks announced today that TCI president, John Malone, would star in its upcoming sitcom, "My Little Militia," about a Senator's daughter (played by an actual daughter of Ted Turner to be named later), who starts a Nazi Robot Skinhead Militia in the family garage.

Though little is known about the show, an unnamed spokesman for Fox revealed that, "Each episode will have the same trademark ending: the Senator will be bawling out his daughter, Margie, when a loud explosion goes off in the background. Margie will look up at her Dad with a sheepish grin as his stern expression slowly breaks into a smile of loving forgiveness and, as they embrace, he utters the trademark closing line: 'That's my little militia-grrrl!'"

According to the spokesman, the role of the kindly, fun-loving uncle from out of town, will be played by Rupert Murdoch, and the mother will be played by Barry Diller, though, like John Forsythe in "Charlie's Angels" his voice will be heard speaking through the phone to Margie and the Senator, but he'll never actually be seen on screen, except for a hand on the phone wearing a gaudy ring (and acted by a stunt double).

This show clearly continues the recent trend towards industry executives taking all the key roles in all their major shows in order to eliminate the costly and ego-driven actors who have, for so long, held back the advancement of narrative form.

When finally released, the show will appear on both the Fox-Turner-Warner-Malone-Sting-Cher Cable Network, and the Ovitz-Eisner-Murdoch-Diller-Malone-Stallone Network.
